Love Revolution University Tour

shapeimage_2

Hope you're doing extraordinarily well! I just finished the most intense two weeks of ministry in my life! We just finished hosting Lesley-Anne Leighton from Holy Given Schools. Within two weeks, we did 12 night mtgs at San Jose State, UC Berkeley, IHOP-East Bay, UC Davis, and William Jessup University.

FRUIT REPORT

The fruit is amazing! There were at least 220 college students altogether who came forward on the campuses to repent of major sins, give themselves wholly to Christ, and get baptized in God's fiery love. Holy Spirit moved powerfully every mtg and hundreds got set free and commissioned to be "bravehearts" and take the land.

One meeting Lesley-Anne led at UC Davis looked like a Chinese underground church gathering. Within moments of calling for a baptism of His fiery love, almost every person there was on the ground laughing, weeping, birthing, or going into visitations. I haven't been to a mtg where God's presence was that strong in several years!

After one meeting, Will spontaneously suggested we worship in the middle of campus at 9:30pm at night. So we held a worship drum circle where we danced on the campus seal, "Let There Be Light" and declared it over the university! Several students stopped and watched us so we shared the gospel with them. It was SO COOL!

We also had a surprise open door at UC Davis. Lesley-Anne and I got asked to share our testimonies at a religious studies class on campus called "God and Satan in Film"! The Jewish Professor had invited our host, Will Klier, to share. We just arrived in town so Will invited us to share as well. We both spoke boldly about the reality of God and Satan and I shared about my past in homosexuality and devil worshiping as well. I also spoke w/ the Professor after class since he seemed wounded by Christians and apologized for any ways we have judged or rejected him because he's Jewish. I could tell he was really impacted.

The next class they had, the Professor said to his students, "What they shared made me want to become a Christian... but I love my Jewish faith too much." The class ended up spending half of their time discussing our testimonies instead of watching a film as planned! One girl from the class came to the rest of the mtgs Lesley-Anne did on campus and got ROCKED!

P
RAYER REQUESTS

God did so much these last two weeks but the Ark leadership is feeling drained so we really need your prayers! Please pray specifically for:

• Ark Leadership: For God to fill us w/ strength, unity, wisdom, and humility

• The Campuses: Unity, fruit remains & grows into a LOVE REVOLUTION

• UC Davis Religious Studies Professor and class will be saved!

• Berkeley War Protests: The revelation that true peace and

radicalism is in Jesus! Outside my window right now, helicopters are flying over Berkeley because of the big war protests here! It's just like in the 1960's when the Jesus People Movement was birthed. Could it be that we're on the brink of another move of God on college campuses? I believe it, because just these past two weeks, I've seen hundreds join the LOVE REVOLUTION. ;)

LET'S PRAY IT IN!!!! GOD BLESS!

His Beloved,
Sarah Allis Yang

UC BERKELEY & EAST BAY HOP

From Wednesday, January 30 – Sunday, February 3 we had a powerful time with Lesley-Anne ministering at multiple locations in the Bay Area. She spent three nights and one afternoon ministering to the Ark in Berkeley and one night ministering at the East Bay House of Prayer in Dublin. Lesley-Anne walked with the Ark on a prophetic journey of being transformed from a family into an army with specific reference to the stories of Elijah and Elisha. The following includes an overview of each of these services and some of the significant events.

1/30/2008, Wednesday (UC Berkeley)

We began worshipping with music facilitated by Dennis. Lesley-Anne started with a prophetic song about people hiding in caves and an exhortation for us to get out of our caves. Like Elijah, we have been hiding in our caves after having been attacked by the Jezebelic spirit and fighting our battles. Also like Elijah who asked the LORD to take his life (cf. 1 Kings 19:4), many had succumbed to depression and even suicidal thoughts. But the Lord brought us food this night and led us through a powerful time of forgiveness toward many authority figures who had wounded us in the past.

Lesley-Anne, Bonita, Tony Kim, and Ryan Longfield stood in for the mothers, fathers, pastors, and leaders of the Elijah generation, and asked forgiveness from Elisha generation for their wrongs. Bonita also asked forgiveness for what had been opened up by previous generations in the Bay Area. A time of personal ministry concluded the night as people went to representatives of specific authority figures as they felt led.

1/31/2008, Thursday (UC Berkeley)

We had a time of powerful worship. Lesley-Anne felt the Lord leading us into a time of repentance, and we started confessing our sins. One by one, we stood up and opened our hearts to God and each other. The presence of God was so strong in the room; people were weeping, and many confessed their deepest sins and fears. It was clear that everyone was so hungry for more of God.

As the time of repentance came to a close and we began to drink the sweet wine of the Holy Spirit as the Lord poured out upon us, Lesley-Anne felt led to have us do a prophetic act. We literally stepped on Lesley-Anne's back as she laid face-down on the floor to signify that her generation's ceiling would become our floor. And after we all took turns stepping over her back, we in turn lifted Lesley-Ann up over our heads as a prophetic act that we, as the Elisha generation, will take the Elijah generation with us as we move with God.

2/1/2008, Friday (East Bay HOP)

We began worshipping with music facilitated by a team from the East Bay House of Prayer. Lesley-Anne began by giving a word to the head of this House, and then a word to the people of the house who had just felt like it was too hard to keep going where the LORD was calling them. As people came to the front, the fire of the Lord met them. Lesley-Anne shared from her heart as people continued to be ministered to by the LORD. We asked the LORD to open our eyes. At the end, people from East Bay prayed for everyone who came from the Ark and from Berkeley; prayers for revival in Berkeley went up before the LORD. As the prayers continued, He met us and refreshed us with His Holy Spirit and joy.

2/2/2008, Saturday (UC Berkeley)

We began with a time of worship. As the Spirit fell in the room, we were delivered from our fears, and the things which have so hindered us from moving forward in God. Significantly, each of the three evening services in Berkeley came with rain, soaking to various degrees the people who came to the services; in a Scriptural parallel, when Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, he had four pitchers of water poured over the wood three times before asking the Lord to send fire onto the altar (cf. 1 Kings 18:34-39). On the third evening of meetings in Berkeley, after having water poured over us three times, we laid our lives on the alter of God and His fire fell upon us, consuming impurities within us and establishing God as the one true God.

After we spent time on the altar before the Lord, Lesley-Anne, representing the Elijah generation, asked each of us what we wanted from God from the Elijah generation. Each of us stood before Lesley-Anne, and as we called out what we wanted, she threw the Ark jacket she had been wearing at each of the Berkeley meetings over us as a prophetic act of passing of the mantle (cf. 1 Kings 19:19 and 2 Kings 2:14). It was so awesome as we spoke the deepest desires of our hearts for the things of God that we had never before dared to express.

2/3/2008, Sunday (UC Berkeley)

The whole time Lesley-Anne spent with the Ark she called us “Brave-hearts.” As a prophetic act during the service on Sunday, we had our faces painted with blue paint, like in the movie Braveheart, as a physical representation of our commitment to being in the army of God. We began with a time of worship. After some encouraging testimonies of what God had been doing in people’s lives over the time of the meetings with Lesley-Anne as well as in service that very day, we responded to an alter call to let go of control in our lives. Lesley-Anne exhorted us to step into the fiery chariot with Jesus and let Him have the reigns. After a time of repentance and commitment, Lesley-Anne, in a Scottish accent, gave a call for us to pledge allegiance to Jesus Christ our King, to do the things we have been asked to do in Isaiah 61, and to fight with courage. After agreeing to the “terms of service” Lesley-Anne set before us from what God had shared with her, we pledged our allegiance to our King, Jesus Christ ,and each of us were then knighted into the service of the army of God.

After the knighting ceremony was completed, we as an army ran to the streets shouting "Freedom!". We all felt such freedom and release into our callings and destinies, it was truly liberating! The freedom shout was followed by members of the leadership team as well as people who felt called to long-term missions shooting arrows out of the east window of the YWCA hall that we were having service in, while calling out the names of the countries for which the arrows were shot (cf. 2 Kings 13:15-17), as a sign of the Lord's arrow of victory over those countries. After shooting the arrows, the leadership team took the whole bundle and struck the ground with them eight times; the seventh strike signified completion, and the eighth strike signified new beginnings (cf. 2 Kings 13:18). It was such a charged culmination to the journey that God had brought us through over the last few days!

Although Lesley-Anne was with us for only a short period of time, many of us have been changed, emboldened and empowered through this journey, into the army of God!!

UC DAVIS & WILLIAM JESSUP UNIVERSITY

After UC Berkeley, Lesley-Anne went up to UC Davis, where she ministered from Tuesday, February 5 to Friday, February 8 to the students at the Davis Christian Fellowship, a university campus ministry. On Saturday, February 9, she ministered at William Jessup University at Roseville, the last university campus for this trip.

2/5/2008, Tuesday (UC Davis)

Sarah started the meeting by sharing about what had happened at the meetings in UC Berkeley, as an encouragement to the students. After which, Lesley-Anne felt led to call forth students who had been under depression and oppression. There were many students who came forth, and as we prayed for them, the Holy Spirit did such a powerful work of healing in their hearts. We then also ministered to the students on any issues of unforgiveness or hurt with regards to their parents and others who had hurt them. It was really encouraging to see the students open up and be vulnerable as they shared their hearts and prayed for each other.

2/6/2008, Wednesday (UC Davis)

Afternoon:
We had a surprise open door at UC Davis. Lesley-Anne and Sarah got asked to share their testimonies at a religious studies class on campus called "God and Satan in Film"! The Jewish Professor had invited our host at UC Davis, Will Klier, to share. We just arrived in town so Will invited us to share as well.

Will, Lesley-Anne and Sarah all spoke boldly about the reality of God and Satan - Will shared about his trust and faith in God, Sarah shared her testimony, her past in devil worship, and also on her deliverance. Lesley-Anne shared about how God came to her in the hospital when she was in a really bad shape, and her experience with demons as her spirit was being clawed away from her physical body as she laid on that hospital bed. Sarah also spoke with the Professor after class since he seemed wounded by Christians and apologized for any ways we have judged or rejected him because he's Jewish, and he seemed to have been really impacted.

The next class they had, the Professor said to his students, "What they shared made me want to become a Christian... but I love my Jewish faith too much." The class ended up spending half of their time discussing our testimonies instead of watching a film as planned! One girl from the class came to the rest of the meetings Lesley-Anne did on campus and got ROCKED!

Night:
The Holy Spirit came right as the meeting started, and there was a time of speaking and interpretation of tongues. Lesley-Anne spoke, and Sarah provided the interpretation. She said that she saw the Great Wall of China and felt that it was a sending out for anybody who felt called specifically to China. There were 3 who came up for prayer. One of whom had sent in an application to China to teach at Sias University, located in Henan province, just an hour before the meeting!! We spent the rest of the meeting praying prophetically over the students. The meeting really looked like a Chinese underground church gathering. Almost every person there was on the ground laughing, weeping, birthing, or going into visitations. The presence of God was so strong!

At about 9.30pm, Will spontaneously suggested we worship in the middle of campus. So we held a worship drum circle where we danced on the campus seal, "Let There Be Light" and declared it over the university! Several students stopped and watched us so we shared the gospel with them.

2/7/2008, Thursday (UC Davis)

It started off with a sombre time of repentance on behalf of the nations. Lesley-Anne felt that God wanted us to go into a time of repentance on behalf of the nations. In order for us to be one body, and individually, for us to reach the nations, there cannot be any walls between nations and tribes. There were many nations represented in the meeting, ranging from America, England, different countries in Asia including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, to the African countries of Uganda and Kenya. We confessed our misgivings, false impressions and the unjust ways in which we have treated people from other nations, and asked for forgiveness.

It was really good as we all came together as one body, and the walls between us crumbled down. We had a time of worship and dancing, African style! There was also a strong spirit of prophecy, so we prayed over the leadership of Davis Christian Fellowship. One of the leaders saw the Lion of Judah circle the house where the meeting was being held, just as it started. And as the worship began the second time during the night, after the time of repentance, he saw the Lion of Judah return!!

2/8/2008, Friday (UC Davis)

We were going to start the meeting with a time of worship, as per the usual order of meetings. But God showed up so powerfully, that we did not even get into the end of one song. Lesley-Anne felt that God wanted to deal with the fears that each of us had - the fear of man, fear of religiosity, fear of failure to name a few. The Lord gently led us through our fears, and took them away.

Lesley-Anne then asked the students, as she did in UC Berkeley, what they wanted from God from the Elijah generation. The leadership of Davis Christian Fellowship and Lesley-Anne stood as representatives of the Elijah generation, and individually threw a scarf over each student as a prophetic act of passing of the mantle as they voiced what they wanted from God. The students were really impacted by the prophetic act, one could see that many of them were touched, encouraged, ministered and empowered. Lesley-Anne, also gave a call for the students to pledge allegience to Jesus Christ, and charged them to "GO! GO! GO! In the name of Jesus!" The students then ran out into the courtyard outside the lecture hall where we were having the meeting, shouting "Freedom!" And just as it was at the meeting the night before, they spontaneously started another drum circle, and worshiped and danced in freedom late into the night!

Will Klier said that he had not seen such freedom in the students before, and felt that God had brought such transformation to each of them that they would not be the same after this!

2/9/2008, Saturday (William Jessup University)

We had a time of worship, and Lesley-Anne exhorted the students to do what is right in the sight of the Lord, and gave them a word based on Hosea 10:12. God is so good!! He knows exactly what we need. The group of students who attended the meeting, are the faithful few who have been praying for a breakthrough in the university, and Hosea 10:12 has been the verse which they had been praying and holding on to! We prayed prophetically over each of them, and specifically for righteousness in them and the breaking of fallow ground in their hearts.

As has been the consistent theme that God did with UC Berkley and UC Davis, the Elijah generation (represented by Lesley-Anne and a couple of key intercessors with the San Francisco House of Prayer) passed the baton on the the Elisha generation. The students were really encouraged and blessed as Lesley-Anne and the intercessors spoke into their dreams, desires and asked for forgiveness from them for not guiding, stewarding and leading them as the mothers and fathers. God knew what they really needed, and brought them healing, encouragement, refreshing, and courage for them to fight the hard ground at William Jessup.
