Holy Given Armavir: Week 1 Update

Holy Given: Armavir International School of Missions
Armavir, Russia
Week 1: 8 - 14 June, 2009

The first week of Holy Given Armavir in southwestern Russia welcomed students from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgystan and the Netherlands.

The first morning one of the students, from a traditional church, was healed of chronic shoulder and back pain during the worship. In the afternoon he was baptised in the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues. A few days later during the outreach he took off his shirt and put it on the back of a homeless man and then came back home on the bus shirtless. By day three of the school all the students including those from traditional churches had started dancing, waving flags and prophesying!

The Lord has really graced us with his presence in an amazing way bringing lots of emotional healing and a deeper understanding of his love and his presence. Many wept as they received the Father's love in a deeper way. The "Father Heart" teaching included each student being dressed with a new coat or mantle, crown, ring, and scepter, then presented with a present they could keep and then asked to sit on the throne with Papa. While sitting on the throne each student was then affirmed that their Father was pleased with them, then prophesied and were prayed over. There were lots of tears followed by radiant faces as every student was deeply touched.

The local outreach included a "Treasure Hunt" on Saturday. Those treasure found who accepted Jesus included 2 prostitutes and 2 homeless alcoholics. The alcoholics are presently living at Living Waters amongst the students. The prostitutes were on a city bus, and the students had an opportunity to preach to the occupants when they were on their way home. And many asked Jesus into their lives!
